Creation always portrayed man to be the alpha species in comparison with women throughout the decades. The hunter gatherer syndrome has been one that has been globally accepted worldwide. When awareness was brought about and brave people fought for the equality of the sexes, women have always been warned against how to use self defense or avoid abusive males. In other words women were given awareness that they too are just as important as the other sex and should in no means feel inferior. However, little notice is given for abusive women in relationships throughout the world.
It is a pity that women have been considered the weaker sex from time unknown. However, the claim is not entirely true in most cases. According to some ancient accounts men who suffered under abusive women in relationships have been hen pecked or have been looked down upon for not being man enough. Further studies in to the theory proves that abusive women in relationships indeed exist so much so that they may even outdo the number of abusive men.
The simple definition for abusive women in relationships is women who make men go through emotional damage. Inflicting pain, worry, fear, deceit and even physical and sexual abuse on men are common features of what these women do. It is said that many abusive women in relationships can be called upon as having narcissistic characteristics such as; promiscuity, egocentrism and crave attention. The central theme for abusive women in relationships is that she needs to be in control of every situation whereas the others are expected to obey her; including her male counterpart.
Since the society puts a lot of demand on men, those who have experienced abusive women in relationships often feel ashamed, live in pain and will bear very low self esteem. It is said that an abused man would feel the same way as an abused women would and the only reason why men decide to cope up with abusive women in relationships is due to shame and guilt.
As much as it is true for women who are being abused, it also rings true that any man who’s been abused by why women stay in abusive relationships should promptly take action to leave the relationship. Legal authorities will act upon such complaints of emotional or physical abuse filed against women and will provide you the necessary jurisdiction to live in peace and harmony if you’ve been a victim of abusive women in relationships.

Are you worried that you may be in a verbal abusive relationship? Some of the important signs that you are in an verbal abusive relationship have been listed down here to help you understand.
It rarely begins with a big issue. A relationship that started off well, where both partners deeply loved one another and even lived happily together for a while, can unfortunately become an abusive relationship.
One of the greatest signs of a verbal abusive relationship is when your spouse thinks you are inferior to him/her. This means that the person would keep criticizing you in whatever decision you make, and would make you feel the need to confirm with them on all matters, no matter how unimportant it may be. This would give you a feeling of inadequacy as you too would begin thinking that you are not good enough to make decisions for yourself. They may choose to frequenty dismiss ideas and propositions made by you, and may dismiss criticisms of their works, as they think they are always right.
Often the abuser in a verbal abusive relationship thinks it important to keep a good picture of themselves when in public. This would mean that they treat you better in public or in the company of others than they would when it is just the two of you.
Do you often feel as if your partner keeps making you jealous?, whether it is by comparing you to old partners, or by flirting with other women in front of you? This is another common tactic attempted by abusers in a verbal abusive relationship. This is an effort to make you feel the need to keep an eye on him/her, in fear that they may cheat on you, even if they would never end your relationship.
After you have gained a better understanding of whether you are really in a verbal abusive relationship, the next step is to work out what you must do to sort out your relationship, or in situations where the problem is irreparable, how to leave your better half.
You need to something about it now! You do not want to waste several more years of your life being in failing relationship, because as time passes you are only causing more hurt to yourself both psychologically and emotionally. A verbal abusive relationships may also affect the actions of your kids as they always watch you being abused by your spouse. If you have tried to make your verbal abusive relationship work by going to a counselor along with your spouse, and the abuse still carries on, it would be best if you walk away.

Many children all over the country may have experienced the horror of having to deal with a father who is abusive emotionally. Although this is probably the most commonly occurring form of emotional abuse, it is definitely not the only one. Hundreds and thousands of people have psychological scars caused by a parent, a friend, a sibling or even a spouse being abusive emotionally and these scars are not ones which are easy to heal. A majority of the victims would not reveal the true nature of a loved one who is abusive emotionally, fearing the social consequences the loved one may have to face. Thus a huge number of cases regarding people who are abusive emotionally are not revealed and thus the problem continues to persist in the society.
Covering up or concealing an individual who is abusive emotionally does not provide an answer for the problem. In contrast the problem could steadily worsen and could lead to disastrous outcomes like suicides or even murders. People and especially children who are subjected to emotional abuse might in turn become individuals who are abusive emotionally and thus the vicious cycle would continue if no solution is given to the problem.
Counseling is one common solution to the problem and in the case of a father who happens to be abusive emotionally, family counseling is almost always recommended. Problems of this nature are best left in the hands of an experienced professional and though loved ones of the person in question could help the person to some degree, it is unlikely that untrained people would be successful in dealing with a person who is abusive emotionally. It is not at all a hard task to find guidance in dealing with such problems and there are many trained counselors and even organizations all over the country who are dedicated to helping those who are abusive emotionally.
An individual who is abusive emotionally can be identified relatively easily. Usually this type of person tries very hard to control you, criticizes and humiliates you for no good reason, threatens to get violent physically by breaking or smashing things and threatens to leave you if you do not follow his or her advice.
A person who is abusive emotional could affect you in several ways such as leaving you with low self-confidence, low enthusiasm and might even be disastrous to your health and therefore, emotional abuse should be dealt with at the earliest possible instance.
